Miss Adaeze Udo Ekwueme is a Nigerian author and destination brand consultant. She is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Eti-Oni Development Group (EDG), the community development organisation aimed at transforming the rural town of Eti-Oni in South West Nigeria into a model smart town through efficient positioning of the town’s rich natural resources including cocoa. She has written and presented papers on destination branding for academic journals and professional bodies.
She is the author of the “8Ps of Cultural Festival Promotion” as published by INPOLIS and the author of “The Investour Sao Tome and Principe” and “The Investour Bahia Brazil”. She started her career with Accenture and prior to her appointment with the Eti-Oni Development Group (EDG), she served as Director Sub-Saharan Africa and later Director Special Projects with The Investour Group, a leading publishing and public relations firm in Geneva, Switzerland.
She holds a BSc (Hons) in Statistics and Economics from University College London, a Postgraduate Diploma (Distinction) in Global Business from University of Oxford and an MBA in International Business from Lincoln University California. She is an alumna of the London School of Journalism, a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations of United Kingdom and a member of the Institute of Place Management.
